The UTokyo LEGO Club (UTLC) is celebrating its 17th anniversary this year. We exhibit collaborative large-scale works (e.g. an amusement park, the MIYASHITA PARK at Shibuya, and the "Naranja Academy" of Pokémon Scarlet) and individual works at school festivals held twice every year. We also get frequent commissions from companies and other organizations, creating LEGO works and holding workshops mainly for children in and out of Tokyo. We often chat on Discord and stream live videos on YouTube on a regular basis.
The UTLC welcomes all LEGO lovers! It doesn't matter whether or not you are skilled in LEGO-design, as we will support you. We sincerely look forward to your participation!

While we have a club room (104A) in the Student Building at Komaba Campus, we frequently use other rooms and buildings, or work online. Also, we hold an online regular meeting (usually 20:30-21:30) on every other Friday.

Tatekan Club (東京大学立て看板同好会)
We are the Tatekan Club, dedicated to creating "Tatekans" (Japanese signboards). If you've visited Komaba Campus, you've likely noticed many Tatekans around, and some of them were made by us! We meet several times a month to paint and craft these signboards. If you have a message you'd like to share through a Tatekan, feel free to join us! We warmly welcome international students. Shamisen Club 三味線くらぶ(長唄研究会)
We play a kind of Japanese music called "Edo nagauta" with shamisen, a traditional Japanese musical instrument, and singing. Most members were begginer when they started it. The teachers offer free practice, so very little money is necessary as activity costs. We also have a club room in the Komaba Campus, where students can practice on their own. We are active jointly with the International Christian University (ICU) Nagauta Kenkyukai, and we hold a joint concert every December in which all first-year students also perform.
