Due to stereotypes about Todai and ‘Todai girls’ and prejudice against girls going to Todai, the percentage of girls at Todai is quite low compared to top-level universities in other countries. In order to make Todai a comfortable university for both men and women, we are working to make female high school students aware of the possibility of aiming for Todai by having them see current Todai students, and to find a polaris (north star) that will guide them towards the future.
Each group has a meeting once or twice a month via Zoom or other means. The meeting is not held on a fixed date and time, but is decided by adjusting the schedule within the group.
April: newcomers' reception
May: May Festival stall
Aug: ‘Orientation tour of the University of Tokyo for female high school students’
Sept: Training camp
Sep: Autumn Reception
Nov: Komaba Festival stall
Mar: ‘Todai Orientation Tour for Female High School Students’ held
*Since there is a good possibility of new projects, etc., new events may be held in months when no major events are held.
*Some groups carry out projects throughout the year.
